I always admire the quote "it's a beautiful thing when career & passion come together". To me, it has lead me to believe that jobs doesn't always have to be severely exhausting & lifeless; you just have to find that particular work which makes your mondays as thrilling as fridays & you'll never feel a day in your life distressing about work.

For some, it's not an easy task knowing what exactly they are passionate about, but it has always been crystal clear to me ever since i was a child what i wanted myself to be in the future and that is to become a model. Most people would say each & every girl in the world would go through that phase where they fancy being one, but they would outgrow that vision thru time as they grow up & mature. But the idea of being a model is far too realistic in my mind to just vanish into thin air upon growing up. Though i was never sure about most things in life, one thing i am sure of, i have found my passion and i'm definitely coming after it & i can't be more anymore glad that i let what i love be what i do.

It wasn't always smooth sailing specially during the beginning, some people would question your talent and capabilities specially when you're a rookie. But i worked hard by doing different sorts of modelling related events like carshows, photoshoots, being a brand ambassador, online influencer, a model host to some events & i take part on tv commercials & tv shows. I get tired sometimes too of course but as i've seen people on carshows waving, smiling at me & some even stay for a quick chitchat with me at my booth, it makes my heart pleased feeling all the love, support & encouragement they give me. The flattering compliments & credits i get each and everytime people see me appear in tv shows or have seen photos from my shoots are also overwhelming. The acquaintances in events usually would turn out to be friends and i think that's how you keep the passion burning, you appreciate the work, the people who are always there to support you as you journey along and of course do not forget to acknowledge yourself too for always being the best that you can be even in challenging times. I always tell myself that nothing worth having comes easy & by doing so, i was able to conquer everything that i wanted one step at a time & i can definitely say how glad i am now that years before, when fear tried to cheat me out of one of the best things that i have in my life right now, i did not let it. Instead, I gathered all the courage I have and pursue the thing I wanted the most.

Being a model is not always just about beauty and glamour. It is also brimming with challenges but with the right amount of determination, dreaming big, staying focused, good intentions and of course a grateful heart to the people you journey along, you will definitely go a long way. So to every ladies & gents who wishes to be a model, don't be afraid to start & keep dreaming big. Know that you are going to accomplish incredible things, you just have to constantly believe in yourself.
